LAUNCH & AUGUST'S PLAYLIST
JULY (Launch) and August's MUSICIANS
Francesco de Grazia
is an Italian composer and guitarist whose evocative piece Carried by the Breeze, serves as the opening track on the album POEM with Arielle Krebs (its title reflecting a hidden poem formed by the tracklist), inspired by a journey through Mexico’s Quintana Roo.
Today, his work merges classical guitar roots with field recordings and electronic textures, inviting listeners into immersive landscapes shaped by time, nature, and a poet’s sensibility.
The Rabbitts
are an ethereal, genre-blending folk band from Norwich known for their colourful sound and intricate harmonies. Constantly evolving and creating, the band has been praised on BBC Radio 6 Music and by Glide Mag for their ambient, expressive folk style. We met them during their time in Vancouver, and being creative was not enough for them. They also were the nicest and most talented!
Kek
is a South Sudanese-Canadian artist whose music was born from a time of deep vulnerability, writing in his van during homelessness and turning pain into lyrical expression; since his debut single Brown Sugar in 2020, he’s been driven by the healing power of storytelling and the emotional connections his songs spark in others.
Maïa Davies
Fresh off her 2025 Juno Award win for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year, bilingual Montreal-born songwriter, producer, and recording artist Maïa Davies has returned with Lovers’ Gothic (Deluxe Edition); a sweeping, emotionally potent expansion of her critically acclaimed record. Anchored by Davies’ buttery vocals and poetic lyricism, her raw and vulnerable songs evoke the drama and delicacy of baroque pop, drawing comparisons to Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell and Beach House.
Anna Goldsmith
is an international award-winning singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. With a powerful voice and a sharp lyrical edge, she channels her artistry into music that promotes kindness, hope, and self-confidence. Her sound draws from rock, grunge, and pop-punk influences, blending raw emotion with bold authenticity.
