Featured musicians

We love you!

At LOUD note, we believe musicians deserve more than just attention; they deserve space: on our website, on our socials, and, most importantly, in our orders!

Each QR code printed on our thank-you card leads to a different playlist each month, where customers can discover five new musicians.

We showcase independent creators to highlight music that’s honest, lively, and sometimes overlooked.

OCTOBER'S MUSICIANS

Baecker

is a fingerstyle guitarist speaking to our hearts and souls. Drawing inspiration from fingerstyle guitar, and classical music to folk music, he is often experimenting with alternate tunings that serve as a foundation to explore new musical ideas.

Sourwood

are a bluegrass-meets-folk-meets-indie group built around the songwriting of Lucas Last from Waterloo, Ontario. With rich acoustic textures, heartfelt lyrics, and an indie edge, their music bridges tradition and modernity, offering listeners a sound that feels both timeless and fresh.

Friday night rebels (FNR)

are an emerging indie-alternative band from Manitoba whose sound blends folk, rock, and spoken word into powerful storytelling. Formed by friends from Waterhen and Skownan First Nation, their music - featuring fiddle, ukulele, tambourine, and driving guitar - serves as both creative outlet and honest expression.

Jess Lynn

grew up surrounded by bluegrass and country, turning diaries of poems and struggles into songs. Today, songwriting remains their diary - capturing love, heartbreak, and the beauty found even in pain, with music as both passion and connection.

Neil D SPEERS

“I was in Montreal, driving around and searching for stations to listen to. Found a jazz station and it was like a breath of fresh air.” Neil D Speers is a blues and rock player whose listening habits are highly eclectic. Lately, his music has taken on more and more jazz influence, especially from his childhood listening to his mother's records like The Modern Jazz and John Coltrane.
